Travelling // Marbella Hotel Corfu, Greece
Through blogging I got many wonderful travel experiences that I am utterly grateful for; last year in Barcelona and this time in this luxury hotel that is located in the Agios Ioannis Peristeron area, sourthern of the town of Corfu and only 20 minutes away from the airport. As soon as we landed we popped into a taxi and got our way towards this beautiful resort (in case you are not a taxi fan, there is a regular bus service running from Corfu town to Marbella and backwards daily).
A welcoming notice along with some treats was left for us on bed and after a four hours flight the day called for nice view and a glass of chilly champagne.
Excited and inpatient as I am, I wanted to explore more of the grounds, so we spent the rest of our day walking and getting lost around the levels and facilities of the hotel. Basically once you visit Marbella you start wandering and find beauty in any direction. I was thoroughly impressed by the dining & bars areas; there are so many choices to satisfy all tastes and preferences for the international guests. It’s hard to not give in! Down right my street was the Belvedere Bar, the main bar of the hotel with a breathtaking, panoramic view over the hotel premises. Steven, on the other hand, loved the Splash American Diner, which has admittedly a very interesting interior design of red sofas, black & white tiles and retro art on the walls (more on this will follow in a near post).
