1. Ladurée macarons
Ladurée macarons are a league on their own. Despite the fact that locals say they are over-estimated I still love them, certainly they must be a reason why the sell more than 15,000 per day! Not your avegare macarons and in fact much more pricey than expected but so tasty that they worth every and each penny you spent on them. Not to mention how beautiful the Ladurée shop and the cafe are-absolutely smitten!
2. The Eiffel tower
No trip to the French capital would be complete without a visit to the iconic Eiffel tower, or else known “The Iron Lady”. Did you know that when it was built back in the 1889 it was not intended to be permanent? It was going to be demolished in 1909 but was saved because it was re-purposed as a giant radio antenna!
