As you know, I am a great advocate of taking caring of your skin, especially once you hit the big 3-0! In my twenties, I used to dread the idea of ageing, but now in my thirties, I embrace life more than ever and take strategic steps to ensure my health and skin is at its best…with a little help from my favourite brands of course!

As Christmas is fast approaching, I am at this point where gift ideas are at the forefront of anything I do. This is why, I am super happy to partner with Boots today to let you know what products I got from the Boots Christmas gifts range for my family and friends as part of their ‘50 Days of Xmas‘ campaign.

I have tried and tested loads of beauty and wellbeing products this past year, and I can guarantee that the majority of them so far came from Boots. Not only their local store is located – very conveniently – ten minutes away from my flat, but most importantly, I love spending my time in-store trying and sniffing their products. For a girl who started appreciating the value of beauty and skincare products just the past year, Boots feels like a magic, eye-opening place!

This year, Christmas came a bit earlier in my house when the postman delivered all the goodies I ordered from the Boots Christmas gifts collection for my family.

My sister and I have, among many, two, distinctive things in common; we both love dog walks in the countryside and Origins! So, deciding what to get her for Christmas this year was easier than ever…

^^ can you tell how happy I am to have my Christmas shopping sorted already? ^^

..no brainer, I picked this Origins GinZing Get Up and Glow gift set from the Christmas gifts for her. We actually, both loved this set once we tried the samples last year, so I knew as soon as I saw it on the website that it has to be hers this time! My sister works long shifts, so she needs something that will make her look fresh, and revitalise her skin instantly, and this comes very handy on this occasion as this gift set energises and hydrates the skin. The original gift set value is £45 but its currently on sale for £30 so it saves me some money to treat my sister to a coffee and cake too!

Another gift that I got for her is this English Heritage Warming Walk gift set that includes a beautiful stainless steel flask, gingerbread biscuits and cafetiere coffee. Perfect for the cold days ahead and our dog walks together 🙂

To say that my Mum loves Joules is an understatement. She absolutely ADORES this brand – from packaging to products and designs – she simply loves them! So, I got her this Joules body care tin gift set which I am sure she will love not only because it includes some of her favourite products, but mainly because she can keep this tin box and store her collection of Christmas cards that she collects since she was 11 years old. Talking about a true Christmas lover!

The body wash and body lotion smell divine so I am really tempted to buy one for myself too…

As with every other man in my life, picking gifts for dad each Christmas feels like a mission. ‘What to buy for the man who has it all’ is what keeps going round and round in my head. Then, I came across this Champneys Gym Holdall gift set at the Christmas gifts for him section – this is a gym bag that holds all the essentials dad will need after a visit to the gym. It includes four energising products and a sponge cloth, used in the countryside Champney health spas by the Champneys therapists, and the gorgeous gym bag that will serve dad for weekend getaways too. I used a bit of the body lotion on my hand and I can confirm it smells wonderfully. Since I loved this gift set, I had a look on-line and found that they have a lady’s version too, so definitely something to consider for my bestie.

And that’s all from me now. As you are reading this, I am walking down the streets of London – I flew here on Tuesday – and on my way to meet my friend Georgia for some tea. Happy Thursday everyone!
