I cannot get used to the fact that Aberdeen is so beautiful during autumn; every little corner and street is lined with leaves in various colours that make me want to stroll through the University and the cobbled alleyways during lunch break. Sometimes I am completely blown away by the beauty of nature and the combination of all these brown/orange colours with the granite buildings. Life feels so much better after a short walk 🙂
Today I got dressed according to the colours around me in a khaki jacket and beige winter knit jumper. I also got very enthusiastic that is finally the season to wear beanies and got my beloved handmade by my mother burgundy beanie on! In case you are not aware, my mum keeps an Etsy shop with handmade crocheted and knitted accessories, such as beanies, scarves, bags and iPad cases. Totally worth it having a look around the shop HERE.
On a side note, I shared with you yesterday on my Instagram account that I cut my hair and some of you asked me for a picture so here you go, new hairstyle revealed! I trimmed my hair at home and initially tried to keep it at the same length and just create a few layers but eventually decided to go for a real haircut and got rid of 8cm. I hadn’t realised how long it was, up until the time I saw all the hair on the floor and boy it felt so good! Washing and drying it now is much easier and also I love the lightness sensation I have since then. I wonder what kept me from not doing it earlier..
Another fact that makes me happy is that it is finally the end of the week. The weekend is getting closer and I have lined up a flat party so need to start with the preparations tomorrow. Spent last night online seeking for recipes to follow but all suggestions are welcome, so please feel free to drop me a comment 🙂
