I’m sure you will all know by now after seeing my elated, full of excitement posts on social media that we recently went on a trip to London, (here is my London trip vlog in case you missed it), and this of course meant only one thing-new wardrobe!
wearing: Jean skirt- Zara, White top-Zara, shoes-Adidas, backpack-c/o Radley, sunglasses-Kate Spade
For the past years, I try to be as frugal as possible and not splash out on new clothes that follow current trends. I do love a good thrift & charity shopping opportunity and I am all about recycling fashion and helping the environment by producing zero clothes waste. However, when going on a trip I always like to wear something new and I have it as a pre-trip ritual to pick up a few outfits from the shops before packing my luggage. It might add an extra cost to the whole trip but I LOVE buying all time classic wardrobe staples, so this time I tried to be wise with my budget and buy only things that I knew I could wear once returning back to Aberdeen and throughout autumn.
An outfit that I adored wearing during this London trip, was this simple denim skirt – white top combination. A white top can be so versatile, (even though some might call it ‘minimal and plain’), but with these buttons and neck I think this top made such an impact to the whole outfit. I love mini skirts so this skirt is definitely something I will be wearing more the next months, perhaps with a pair of leggings underneath as the colder temperatures approach…
We got these pictures while on our way to Hyde Park from the British Museum, after an emergency evacuation-the ultimate nightmare (see more HERE), but thankfully it all went well! Now, if you excuse me I will let the pictures do the talk and get ready for tonight’s event, the Grand Opening of the Sandman in Aberdeen before getting Cruzy out for a wee walk.
