Best known for its low prices and clever design, CitizenM Glasgow attracts people from all over the world. Whist our stay at CitizenM, I couldn’t stop looking outside the window of our room as the view was truly breath-taking. You had could see the entire city of Glasgow just in front of your eyes! CitizenM Glasgow
Upon our entry to the hotel we were impressed by the Scandi design, tall wooden bookshelves lined all across the walls were filled with books, old vintage radios, leather bags, cameras and souvenirs from various countries, but in a neat and symmetrical way! We checked in ourselves through the laptops that they have on the ground floor for visitors (it was really quick and easy to do so on the touch screen), and headed to our room on the seventh floor. CitizenM hotels have changed the traditional way hotels are, and because of this they have also cut down on expenses and the prices of the accommodation.
Rooms are smaller than your average hotel room-think of Japanese style rooms where every free space is taken up and is used in the most practical way-but the quality is exactly the same as the one you would get in a four star hotel anywhere else. Our room had a king sized super comfy bed with adjustable room lighting that was controlled through an iPad. There were free movies and free wi-fi but the thing that really impressed me is that in each room there is an international plug system, which saves you the stress of forgetting your plug converters back home!
The hotel offers coffee for free 24/7 and has many conference rooms that you can find some peace and work in silence.
When it came to breakfast, everything was freshly produced and even the porridge/muesli option was ready to eat, unlike in most hotels were you have to prepare this yourself. There was a huge selection of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, along with cooked breakfast and the freshest and most buttery croissants that melted in your mouth!

But enough with the talking, I’ll let you enjoy the pictures… CitizenM Glasgow
