I am sure that by now you have realised that I am a seafood lover!
Fish and seafood are my weaknesses and I would be very happy to eat either of them everyday. I know many people dislike the smell of fish but to me it brings back childhood memories of summer days spent by the sea. So here’s another recipe of my healthy eating series. Hope you like it!

For this recipe you will need (serves 2 persons):
800 g fresh scallops
juice of one orange
two chopped onions
half glass of dry wine
2 tbsp sugar
olive oil
salt, pepper,oregano

Wash the scallops and pat them dry between paper towels.

Place them on the grill, sprinkle with salt and let them for 5′. Turn them over until they get a slightly brown colour on both sides.

Prepare your sauce by adding olive oil in a pan, the chopped onion and seasoning. Let it fry and then add the sugar and wine. At the end add the orange juice and let it all boil together until the sauce is thick.

In the meantime, get yourself a glass of wine and enjoy πŸ˜‰

As soon as the sauce is ready serve the dish placing the scallops on top of rocket salad and the sauce aside with some toasted bread.
