Cooking // Spicy sausage with peppers and tomatoes

…or else as we call it in Greece, “Spetzofai”, is one of the most famous recipes. The ingredients are very easy to find and it is greatly accompanied with good wine and plenty of bread. It wont take you more than an hour to prepare the ingredients and have it cooked, so lets get started!
For this recipe you will need (serving 4 people):
2 Greek spicy sausages
10 green peppers
1 large onion
1 large tomatoe 
half glass of red wine
250 ml tomatoe sauce
1 clove of garlic
olive oil, pepper, salt
Cut the sausages in small pieces and chop the tomatoe.
Cut the onion in small pieces and the peppers in slices.
In a saucepan pour some olive oil and stir the onion for 3 minutes. Then add the tomatoe sauce and the mix of vegetables (tomatoe, peppers, garlic). Stir them for another 12 minutes in medium heat. Add some salt and pepper.
Add the sausage pieces and mix ocassionally until the vegetable juices are mixed and absorbed by the meat. Finally add the wine and cover the saucepan. Let the wine be absorbed by the ingredients.  
Cook for another 15 minutes.
Serve it with rice and slices of bread.
