We started celebrating our Easter weekend on Friday with a dinner at Dizzy’s. On Saturday the weather wasn’t inspiring much so we stayed at home pretty much all day watching movies and eating endless amounts of chocolate. The highlight was driving to Stonehaven late at night, just for the fun of it.
Sunday was such a gorgeous, sunny days with blue skies. I made chocolate pancakes for breakfast and then we rushed to get out and enjoy ourselves in the sunshine. I did a bit of shopping at Bon Accord and then headed for lunch to Nargile, one of our favourite restaurants in Aberdeen. Later on I baked a spinach pie and a Moroccan orange cake as I was expecting Marianne in the flat. We had the most fun evening, chatting away about our careers, paper submissions and future dreams while sipping white wine.
I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter weekend and happy Easter week to my Christian Orthodoks friends.
