Happy Friday friends and welcome to another instalment of the Friday Edit Series! This week has been an (unexpectedly) busy one. Just when I thought nothing exciting was on the cards, everything changed. Here’s what made this week a good one:
ONE// Taking Monday off to work on the Blog from home. All these years I have been working on Natbee’s during the evenings and weekends but when projects come along the way and pay the bills I try, whenever possible, to take a day off the day job and focus on the Blog. This Monday, I stayed at home and worked throughout the day with Cruzy being my loyal assistant, bringing the biscuits and turning on the kettle whenever needed, and it was the perfect start to my week 🙂
TWO// The bright, sunny days that we are experiencing right now in Aberdeen. While the rest of Scotland, and some parts of northern England, are covered with white, fluffy snow, up here in the north east we are still lucky with dry days consisting of beautiful, blue skies. The air is crisp and the temperatures are low but having all this light every day gives me the motivation to go out on long(er) dog walks and work without feeling dejected.
THREE// Aberdeen Restaurant Week and all the goodness that it entails. Being one of the ambassadors I am on the duty of reviewing one of my favourite restaurants this weekend, Howies on Chapel Street! I’ve been to Howies many times before as it has one of the best menus and interiors in town. It is also very conveniently located close to my place, so ideal to meet friends on a rather short notice on a Friday evening!
FOUR// Burn’s Night, haggis, neeps and tatties. Need I say more? 🙂
How was your week? Any weekend plans?
