Life lately, in verbs.

Life lately, in verbs.

Can you believe it is almost the middle of June? Summer goes at double speed I swear! Funny how different a minute on the treadmill and a minute by the beach feels…

Life lately has been quite, I have been working hard towards my last Ph.D thesis chapter, so I can take time off next week as me and Steven are off to SANTORINI!

It has been almost a decade since I last visited the island; it was just after A’ levels that me and my girlfriends decided to celebrate the end of our school life and the beginning of a life of adventures.
I have already received our itineraries and I might have done my luggage already…

Here’s how life looks like lately in verbs:

Eating // Cheese, ice-cream, chocolate-peanut butter cookies that I baked the other day and mushroom risotto, yum!

Drinking // White wine, fresh orange juice and occasionally black tea.

Loving // My Olympus E-PL7 camera (even though I still haven’t figured out how to use it on manual mode) and my gold cacti Oliver Bonas glass.

Making // Chocolate cookies (on Friday) and spinach pie (today).

Feeling guilty for // Eating too many carbs and desserts while I know I am off on holidays in less than a week. Greedy at its best!

Wearing // My Tourist sandals non-stop.

Reading // Cooking books (because no time for anything else).

Craving // Sunshine, crystal blue waters and olive trees, (soon, very soon!).

Watching // Suits series.

Debating // whether I should get two or three pairs of shoes with me in Santorini, and which of them.

Listening to // Tame Impala the Deezers session (duh!).

Looking forward to // Cruising around the Greek islands next week.

Learning // How to master baking the BEST spinach pie. Oh, also how to set ISO on my camera. Small steps at a time.

Working // hard to finish my current experiment. Loads of chemicals involved so not my cup of tea of all the experiments I have completed so far.

Enjoying // The few rays of sunlight in the morning.

Anticipating // to eat calamari by the beach this weekend! And bougatsa for breakfast, generally stuff my face with all sorts of Greek food.

Finding // yoga classes close to the flat. Excited to try it!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
