I woke up today from my mum’s call, she was asking me what colour were my clothes in case the camera of the Olympics helicopter was on me and she didnt recognise me. MUM I’M STILL IN BED! Anyway I woke up and got dressed as quick as possible to go and see the Marathon runners since their route was passing under my house. I managed to get on the Jubilee bridge though it was too crowded and stayed there until the end of the Marathon. The sense of the people’s feelings in the atmosphere was so intense. When I saw the athletes I was moved; it takes an unspeakable strenght and personal commitment to do what they are doing; and for that I simply admire them…I ended up eating ice cream in Covent Garden, thinking whether I should start running or not. Goofy, who me?
