It took me 9 days to conclude on my New Year’s Resolutions.
Nine days of ‘should I?’, and ‘maybe not’.
But with the beginning of a new decade, I felt it is the ideal time to make a list of achievable* goals and set myself on a new mindset and pathway.
*I am not going to become a marathon runner all of the sudden, worry not!
Here is what I am hoping for this year and hopefully decade –
DRINK MORE WATER – I keep saying this every year, perhaps 2020 will be the year that I’ll finally survive on more than 2 glasses of water per day?
EAT LESS SUGAR – My diet consists of two desserts per day, something I am not proud of at all so here’s to making a conscious effort to minimise, and hopefully completely eradicate, my sugar intake this year.
FOCUS ON MY HEALTH – Take up a fitness challenge, start meditating, dance more, stretch more. This is the time to take care of my physical and mental health.
FINISH THE FLAT RENOVATIONS – amen to that!
SELL THE FLAT – double amen to that!
BUY A HOUSE – literally, the best thing that could happen this year.
START A NEW JOB – I’ve been keeping it hush hush but I start a new job on Monday and I am so utterly excited about it. But I will tell you more on tomorrow’s blog post.
Now tell me, have you made any New Year’s Resolutions or new decade resolutions? If so, share them with me!
