My designer wishlyst

I’ve been recently introduced to Lyst by their team and I’ve been asked if I wanted to spend time on the website, look at beautiful designer pieces and create my own wishlist of the season… oh, hell yeah!
Lyst is a really cool concept: you create an account, you select only the stores and designers you like and the website will show you a feed that is tailored for you, with only pieces and designers you already love or that are similar to the ones you have selected. It’s a personalised shopping experience, which makes it very irresistible! Shoes, dresses, accessories, everything’s there, with so much choice, it’s definitely too hard to resist…
I didn’t really feel like picking party dresses or super glamorous outfits for New Year’s Eve so I decided to create a seasonal outfit that I could wear to go out for drinks with the colleagues on Friday night or go for Christmas shopping at the weekend: comfortable, warm but definitely trendy, with only picks from my favourite designers. This is what it looks like:

Accessories are always central in an outfit, aren’t they? Take a pair of black jeans and a casual loose jumper, sprinkle two or three well-picked accessories and it always makes you look really good. That’s my philosophy at least!
I’m in love with this Charlotte Olympia red card holder, perfect for your tube, train or bus tickets and it fits perfectly in this Michael Kors shoulder bag. The Kiki de Montparnasse lace bra is always an absolute must, it feels like it’s super comfortable but daring and sexy. Love it!

If I’m meeting my girl squad for shopping, I could easily go over the top and throw in some more nice accessories like this cute pair of faux stud earrings and this stylish pair of Mulberry gloves. I love the quilted pattern here. And to style it up a little bit more, I’ve chosen this daring pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals. I admit, those babies will have to wait for a spring shopping spree!

And for the main course, I picked a sleeveless black top by Dorothee Schumacher, a chic but classic piece that’s easy to pair up with different outfits. In my own bold version, it’s paired up with a Paul Smith leather skirt, a timeless jewel, and a funky white coat. Because why not?

I hope you guys like the outfit, it was really easy, natural and fun to come up with. If you try, let me know what you think!
