A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Target Dry if I would like to collaborate with them on a festival lookbook and of course I jumped on the opportunity since one of my colleagues swears on her khaki Target Dry jacket.
After much thought (what colour, what would look great with most of my clothes etc.), I ordered the Georgia waterproof parka in blue because a) my wardrobe couldn’t stand another khaki jacket and b) I never owned a blue parka, which brings me down to the conclusion of how stupid I have been all these years; this colour goes with any outfit!
The padding is really warm, tried it and tested this weekend while trying to have a BBQ in the rain, no single drop got inside my clothes!
So thinking of Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Festival (and how unexpected the British weather is), this parka is a life saver, trust me.
I paired it with a tartan shirt in pink & blue shades, my skinny jeans and blue polka dot sneakers. A canvas bag to carry all the essentials (aka camera, keys, sunglasses-still have my hopes high for sunny days) and I am out of the door.
Speaking of festivals, are you heading to any this season? I will most likely go to Edinburgh, weather permitting, but hey ho, its safe to say I have me covered with this jacket 😉
Thanks Target Dry for this amazing gift!
*this is part one of a three outfits lookbook so keep an eye for the next one 😉
