Well, as you may have noticed from my Instagram feed and latest post, I flew back home. After months of long working days and weekends, I figured it was high time to book my tickets and plan a short escape to the land of sunlight. It took me two flights and a long waiting connection but I would gladly do it again to see some particular happy faces waiting for me in the airport gate.
First thing I did as soon as I landed was to go for a walk by the beach, I missed all these blue colours, where the sea meets the sky. I spent a good amount of time at the seafront, just staring at the blue waters and listening to the sound of the waves before moving to the next step of my plan, that was to stuff myself with seafood while sipping ouzo (typical Greek I know).
Good thing about being at home-apart from meeting family and friends obviously- is that I get to wear clothes from my old closet. Most of the time I forget how many clothes and shoes I have left in my old room, so each time it feels like a surprise! During most of my time I was dressed very casually with my beloved pair of grey jeans from Marks and Spencer and my new jacket from Fatface that I scored for only 50 pounds from the airport while killing my time around the duty free shops. In case you didn’t know it, Fatface is having a massive sale and since it is a brand that I love its clothing I am seriously thinking of investing on another jacket-maybe a spring one this time?
Well that’s all for now, I will try to post more of my pictures from Greece and give you a taste from my holidays.
