The 2016 fitness project

New Year, new goals and resolutions. How many of us haven’t we started 2016 with the hope to be more strong, more fit and more healthy?

Well I had the best intentions and then work overload brought me back to reality. Long hours in the lab and 14 hour shifts left me unable to finish my workouts, hit the gym or even go for a run. However, fitness is not all about working out and a big part of being healthy and strong is being attributed to good eating habits. I can’t workout but I can certainly keep an eye on what I eat, so here’s to healthy eating habits and supefood breakfasts! Last time I did a smoothie detox it was sometime ago but I can still remember how good it felt afterwards.  A smoothie a day it is then…

For this green smoothie you will need: 
1/2 banana, 1 apple, 1 kiwi, 1 orange, handful of spinach, 20 ml orange juice.



P.S: As you read this I am waiting a Fitbit wristband and I couldn’t be any more excited to give it a go 🙂
