Top summer 2016 travel destinations

My main interest for the past years is to travel as much as I can…
(while doing a Ph.D but that’s not as fun to talk about). So after completing my last experiment I cannot wait to fully throw myself into travel blogging and see what experiences come out of it.

From time to time I find myself on Pinterest browsing for hours on a mission to find the beach with the bluest colours (if that makes any sense to you because every beach has blue colours), but never considered to post my top destinations here.
So grad yourself a cup of tea and dive into these blue waters…

SANTORINI

Santorini has conquered a corner in everyone’s imagination before even setting eyes on it! Resting in the middle of the indigo Aegean islands, Santorini has the best sunsets and white houses with blue windows that you will ever see! First time I visited it was after I finished my A levels and spending time away my family with my best friends was one of the best experiences of my life. It is no secret that is it one of the best places to visit on the planet and I cannot wait to go back!

BALI

Who in their sane minds wouldn’t want to be in this place right now? From infinity pools to ancient magnificent temples Bali is not just a place for honeymoons trips, it’s a place for everyone and it’s good for the soul!

JAPAN

After watching a BBC Two documentary about Japan’s enchanted islands my mind got stuck into the idea of booking an impromptu trip-as you do-to this beautiful country. From snowy mountains to subtropical warmth Japan has certainly loads to offer. I am particularly interested into visiting Honshu, a rice fields and cherry blossoms islands, exactly what I have in mind when I think of Japan!

NEW YORK

Imagine hopping in a yellow cab to get down to the West Village and poke your head around some vintage boutiques while indulging into people watching on a Sunday morning. Or even better make your way to Soho for some drinks and nibbles before watching the sunset at Central Park-I mean does anyone really need any excuse to visit New York?

MIAMI

Did someone say colourful lifeguard beach houses, white wooden balconies and cocktails under plam trees? I am sold!

So these are a few of the places I currently have in mind.
Have you ever been to any of these? Which one is your favourite?
