What a better place to start wandering through the city with Cassandra than the Christmas market!
Personally, I love Christmas markets, the atmosphere is so festive filled with delicious smells of mulled wine and chocolate crepes. Cheerful people buy gifts while children are ecstatic to take the tour on the holiday train. Somehow it felt like we were children again and spent most of our time showing with much joyfulness beautiful ornaments to each other. There were hundreds of handmade Christmas tree embellishments and bric-a-brac pieces. I loved the locally made nutcrackers, isn’t it like the ultimate Christmas item? Cassandra on the other hand, bought some tiny twooden hand carved owls and deers. Handmade gifts are so special and I am sure this year’s Christmas tree at Cassandra’s house will be decorated with unique, beautiful ornaments 🙂

Have you visited any Christmas market yet, and if so, where was it?

Love,
Anastasia
