The first thing that comes in someone’s mind when hearing the name of Edinburgh is the famous castle. It stands at the hill of the old town for centuries and is one of the most iconic places to visit in Scotland. Luckily for us the weather was on our side and that made our visit to the castle, a lovely experience.
It was Cassandra’s first time and I wanted to be well informed before playing the tourist in my city, so did a bit of reading the previous afternoon. As per usual people from all over the world were visiting, so it was a bit crowded but that didn’t bother us. We waited patiently on the queue until it was our time to walk pass the gate. I let Cassandra lead the way, while I was taking most of the pictures.
“It is a wonderful thing to have a friend who is willing to take pictures of you all the time during sightseeing”, Cassandra said and as a blogger without a photographer I can’t agree anymore with her!
As we were reaching for the top of the hill, the click-click sound of cameras taking pictures was more and more intense and I can’t blame the people, I mean look at this view…simply stunning!
We wanted to remember this moment so I asked a lovely chap to get a picture of us and while giving him directions on how to use my camera, he said with a wide smile on his face, “I am a photographer”.
What can I say, beautiful things happen!
