Gouvia is a small port for private yachts Southern of Corfu town. The sea was warm and welcoming and we spent our morning drinking frappe, reading newspapers and playing the cards under the shadow.
In the afternoon we headed back to the hotel and the town centre to stroll around the cobbled streets and do some window shopping.
Typically we finished our night by eating frozen yogurt with a traditional, local Corfu product, Kum quat, as a topping. In case you have never tried it please do next time you get a chance, it is by far the most aromatic fruit I have ever tasted. I like it so much that I bought as many liqueur bottles as my hand luggage could hold-ok I might be exaggerating a tiny bit but you get the idea!
