Nardini Glasgow

Today was the coldest day I have ever experienced in my time so far in Scotland. Yet today I chose to visit the Nardini’s, one of Scotland’s most famous café to taste their famous ice cream! Nardini was first launched in Largs and it is relatively new in Glasgow, but never actually got the chance to visit before.
It is famous for its cream parlour with 32 different tasted of ice cream and to be honest with so many colours and flavours I got lost and didn’t know what to order. After some suggestions by the lovely girl behind the till I ended up buying the toffee and vanilla ice cream and my friend got a caramel shortbread accompanied by a large cup of cappuccino. The ice cream was amazing, very close to the gelato I ate last summer in Rome. The stuff was also very friendly and they didn’t mind me taking loads of pictures. We left before the snow storm and bought a couple of shortbreads for breakfast. All in all a lovely afternoon!

Love,
Anastasia
