Spending my weekend travelling and visiting museums like the Fitzwilliam museum of Cambridge was in the plan of the long weekend. Unfortunately when we arrived it was a bit late, so we had only 40 minutes left to see the entire museum. Without second thoughts, we decided to visit the Greek part gallery that was luckily on the ground floor, so we didn’t have to take the stairs and lose extra time. Bingo!

The entire exhibition was collected from different places of Greece, Italy and Cyprus, and the displays varied from the 2700 BC to the 130 AD era. I was very pleased to see all this ceramic art from the Early Bronze Age, as well as the stone sculpture of Dionysos God from the Roman period. In case you want to pay a visit, the museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-17.00 and the entrance is free. Enough with the talking though, hope you enjoy the tour through my pictures!
Love,
